Singing is an expression of the human spirit

Natalie is a mezzo-soprano with a vibrant, sweet tone. She is known for her nuanced and expressive singing that touches the hearts of audiences. Natalie revels in singing various styles of music, and exploring the versatility in her sound.

Natalie earned a Bachelor of Music with Honors in Voice Performance from Western University, under the vocal coaching of Jennie Such. Her agile voice allows her to revel in coloratura-filled music. Natalie stands out with her deeply expressive performances of Art Song and Oratorio.

Natalie shares Arabic music as a soloist. She was a singer in the Toronto premiere of the Palestinian play “Tales of a City by the Sea”, transitioning scenes singing traditional Levantine songs. She has also has been enjoying her endeavors as a guest soloist of Arabic music with choirs in Canada! Natalie has been involved in improvisatory and collaborative contemporary music workshops and performances. Most recently, Natalie sang with Continuum Contemporary Music, in a premiere of a new work by Robert Fleitz, as part of Jumblies Theatre’s “Ground For Goodness” project.

As a vocal coach, Natalie’s coaching style allows singers to lean into their authenticity, imagination, and musical interpretation. She bridges expression, and movement, with vocal technique in her instruction, allowing singers to pleasurably develop their musicality and skills! She believes that healthy and joyful singing is in finding freedom in our systems and spirits, throughout rehearsal and performance.
